You Time - when is the last time that you did Absolutely nothing for 10 minutes?

We live in an incredibly busy world, the pace of life can be incredibly frantic. It’s easy to neglect taking care of ourselves because when we’re busy and overwhelmed, even a small reprieve feels like a luxury, but self care isn't just important, its crucial. Self care helps you for many reasons.  Preventing overload burnout, reducing negative effects of stress and helping focus.  One of the most important people for you to be with is yourself! Having your own needs met first means that you can then be there for everyone else.


Our mind is the most valuable and precious resource, through which we experience every single moment in our life.  The mind that we rely on to be happy, content and emotionally stable at the same time to be kind, thoughtful and considerate in relationships and to be able to perform at our very best, but yet how much time do we take out to look after it? Have we become so distracted that we are no longer "present" in the world in which we live? 


We invite you to come and spend some time with us and nature, being around our horses in the paddocks (or even the shelter if its raining!) bring a chair, a thermal flask and a cosy throw if you like and get time to just "be".  If you want to get involved help look after the ponies, developing our allotment or helping look after the land, and meet like minded people perhaps it's time to find an alternative way to develop your well-being?


As a social enterprise we ask for a contribution of £5, and monies will go towards developing our area for increased enjoyment for everyone and supporting those who require additional help through our equine assisted learning programme. We are campaigners for mental health and general well-being and as our mission says we hope to "Inspire people to believe in themselves to help them succeed".
