We can work with schools and pupil referral units to offer an alternative provision for working with students who are disengaged or excluded from mainstream school.
Many of these learners may have poor social skills, poor school attendance and unable to function in a traditional school setting and are currently disengaged in learning.
With equine assisted learning we can help in addressing and working with issues that have led to a learners disengagement and provide a tailored programme of study to help them.
We can work with learners from Key stages 2, 3, and 4 to provide a unique experience outside of the school setting. Learners can experience how their behaviours and intentions affect the horses and through this experimental learning can develop alternative strategies for coping with situations that will equip them with transferable skills that will remain with them long after the session has ended.
